There are a wide number of academics and majors offered at Coppin State University. Many of the professors that students have for classes are apart of the administrate for the major students take which can be very helpful.

The administration is very hands on and gives students exactly what they need to get them where they need to be. They are very supportive and there through the good times and bad. Throughout the years you build a bond and relationship with the staff and administration that gives students a sense of comfort and push to stay strong.

The campus has its own police and security so students feel safe. It is not that big so the dorms are close to all the basic places a student would go for instance its steps away from the cafe and students can reach any building in 5 minutes so travel isn’t long at all.

It is also minutes from a local mall that students can go to for different things. The dorm rooms are pretty nice as well as the suites that the rooms are in and they have wireless capabilities and clean.

Greek life aims to please. They do great things for the school and they community. Their chapter houses are not grand but they are sufficient living quarters. The Greeks are not different from any other student. They are furthering their education to better their lives just like other non-Greeks.

The athletics at coppin are pretty nice. They have some strong teams and have been to a championship at least once. Students always come out to support our teams, especially basketball. Students have just started a football club, which has made history for them and in a couple of years they will be able to have a real team.
